Lucas and Cormac

We're looking to adopt a baby

Hello! We are Cormac and Lucas! Thanks so much for taking the time to learn about us and our journey to fatherhood!

We met in college in 2008. Lucas attended college across town from Cormac, but Lucas decided to venture up the road to go to a party at Cormac’s university. We immediately noticed each other, and Cormac eventually worked up the nerve to talk to Lucas. We hit it off right away! Our relationship was then put to a hard test, right off the bat. Cormac had signed up to spend a year in China, and he was leaving within a few months of our first meeting! But we made it through that year and have been by each other’s side ever since. We got engaged in February of 2012 and we were married in June of 2013 outside of Boston, Massachusetts.

We always knew that we wanted to be parents. As our relationship has grown, and as we have spent more time with our nieces and nephews, we finally decided that we were ready to take the leap and begin our adoption journey.
